Find out more about the paper we use, and the Last Colour Down ethos.

paper

By its nature, paper is one of the world’s most renewable materials.

All papers used in the creation of our stationery are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. This means that the paper is made with, or contains, pulp that comes from FSC certified sustainably managed forests, where there is a managed cycle of planting, growing and a controlled logging system.

Our papers are 100% recyclable, including paper with foiling. The foil used on our paper is compostable and biodegradable.

The brands we use are Colorplan, Keaykolour, Nettuno, Tintoretto and Foilco.

A small range of our paper is made from 100% recycled pulp, please enquire if you are interested in using this paper.

Envelopes

Our standard envelopes are made using eucalyptus paper, meaning that they are 100% recyclable. Our standard white and ivory envelopes weigh a heavy 120gsm or higher, which is heavier than the standard offered in the wedding industry.
